The best home stay.
I had the pleasure of staying at Greenview Home stay, Kovalam with my family on 28-29 June 2024, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. We stayed in a family room, there are two rooms (a bedroom and a children’s room). From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and instantly at ease.
The homestay is perfectly situated walkable distance from Kovalam Beach (Hawwa beach) and providing a peaceful area. There are also great restaurants nearby (about 400m) viz. “Taste of Kerala” and “Punjabi Daba.
The hosts, Shri Sreekumar and Smt. Sushama, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the local area, offering great recommendations for places to visit and dine. Their genuine care and kindness made me feel like a part of their family.
The building is brand new and well built and maintained. The room was very good, spacious, neat & clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. There is plenty of light and ventilation. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
The homestay offers excellent facilities, including a common dining room with electric kettle, water purifier and free Wi-Fi. The homemade breakfast was very delicious. They provide as Appam and Vegetable stew as breaakfast. They will provide only homemade vegetarian foods.
What truly sets this homestay apart is the authentic and personal experience it offers. It feels like our home and hosts are our parents. This homestay is ideal for all type of travelers (solo, female, group travelers, family etc.) There are 4 twin rooms of which 2 are A/c., one single room and a family room can accommodate 4 or 6 persons (two separate rooms inside which is ideal for family with two children or group of travelers less than 6 Nos.)
Overall, my stay at Greenview homestay, Kovalam was exceptional. The perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and local charm made it a standout experience. It is a budget friendly homestay also. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic travel experience.

Follow Google Maps EXACTLY to reach here; have your local driver give them a call if needed. The hosts are unbelievably hospitable, the rooms are adequate in size & comfort.
I had to leave early one day for diving, and they made sure to store the breakfast & serve it to me later in the day.

We were on 5 days trip in Kerala with our 15 months old child in last December (2023). Last two days we stayed here. It almost felt like staying at our own house. Home stay owner ‘s wife gave home food for the child. She even packed food for us while returning. Both uncle and aunty were kind. Proximity is new and everything is well planned and the kitchen has all the essentials. Well maintained with cleanliness on top priority. We would love to stay here again

This homestay was really good. The owner and his family stays in the ground floor and rest top 3 floors are on rent. We had one night stay and it was really comfortable. They even arrange Puttu and kadla curry in breakfast on our request. The rooms are small and cosy, neat and clean. It has almost all the facilities and very near by to Gujarat Veg Restaurant and Kovalam Beach. It’s highly recommended.

This is a fantastic place to spend your holidays with family and friends in Kovalam. The hosts are an excellent couple who go out of their way to make you feel special and welcome to their home. I would certainly recommend this place and will definitely stay here whenever I visit Kovalam in the future.
The host is fantastic, very polite, very helpful and feels like you are at home. Everything is fantastic, just that you will find a small problem related to the location but that also can be navigated. Overall fantastic home stay.

Greenview Homestay was absolutely perfect! Rooms were spotless and we felt right at home. Breakfast each day was so delicious. I fell ill during my time there and the hosts went above and beyond to help ensure all of my needs were met and they treated us like family. Such an incredibly kind and caring couple. GreenView is a very pleasant and enjoyable homestay. The place is very near to Kovalam beach. The host was super friendly and really helpful. The complementary breakfast was good and tasty.
It’s kids friendly and all room having Amazon fire stick.

If you want home away from home, this is your place. Cleanliness is top notch. The couple who owns the property are very warm, welcoming and always ready to help you with any of your need. Common kitchen with all required utensils and electrical equipment. Very peaceful surroundings with parking space. The homemade breakfast was very tasty and they took care of our dietary requirements too. Very pocket friendly.

ホームステイを営むご夫婦と娘さんのお人柄がとにかく良く、また帰ってきたくなる場所です。
ビーチからは少し歩きます。木に囲まれた住宅街のような場所にあります。自然が豊かで、静かな場所なので、リラックスするにはいい環境です。庭で野生の孔雀を見ることができました。
部屋は清潔で、虫を見ることはありませんでした。日中は暑いのでエアコン付きの部屋をおすすめします。
ビーチが目的ではなく、のんびり過ごしたい人にはとてもオススメです。
ケララで過ごした中で間違いなく最高の宿でした！
コヴァーラムに来る際には、また泊まりにきます！
Visited Trivandrum with my friends from Mumbai for a holiday and stayed in green view homestay for 2 days. Rooms were spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. The hospitality extended by the owners were excellent. The food was authentic and tasty. We had a pleasant stay and look forward to come back and also recommend this place to my colleagues and relatives.
